New York’s Be Social Change held its annual New York Social Good Summer Bash on June 23, 2016 at the Wix Lounge in Manhattan, bringing together individuals from different nonprofit and social change organizations for a night of food, fun, drinks and networking.
FXB USA’s Program Director Karina Weinstein attended the event with FXB’s interns from Columbia University.
The event fulfills part of Be Social Change’s mission to “empower people from all sectors and industries to pursue meaningful work and create lives that make the world a better place” through community-building events. FXB USA, a member of Be Social Change network, is proud to have been one of the community partners of this event.
Community partners and social change enthusiasts from various sectors were in attendance, networking and mingling around how to deepen social impact, form partnerships, and collaborate across sectors.
FXB USA connected with individuals from Taproot Foundation. DoSomething.org, Spark Microgrants, and Charity: water, among others. For FXB USA, one of few international NGOs located in New York City, it was very rejuvenating to meet and connect with individuals and organizations who could become potential supporters and partners.
At FXB USA, we are always eager to hear from like-minded people and organizations, because connection is the first step to achieving social good. Let’s stay connected! Please sign up for our monthly e-newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
