Harvard Kennedy School Policy Analysis Exercise

The Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) is the capstone experience of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Master in Public Policy (MPP) curriculum. The PAE is an analytic professional product in which MPP students examine and develop solutions for a public or nonprofit sector policy or management issue presented by a client organization. A team of three MPP students- Pooja Gupta, David Truong, Lauren Viehbacher-helped FXB tackle the following questions:

  • How does FXB’s model apply to different countries and local contexts?
  • Contributing to FXB’s feasibility assessment of expansion into the US, how might the model be operationalized for an American context?

The PAE was supported by Karina Weinstein, Program Director at FXB USA, and Myriam Zuber, FXB International Liaison Officer at the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The team’s academic advisor was Professor David Yanagizawa-Drott. To view the PAE, click here.
